Matching Gifts Program
Ask your Human Resources Department about your company’s Payroll Deduction & Matching Gift Programs that may match the amount you wish to give to Transition Services, Inc., thereby doubling your impact.
You can support Transition Services, Inc., by giving appreciated securities, which can be a tax-smart way to contribute.
When donating appreciated securities, a donor generally receives a charitable income tax deduction for the full market value of the securities given. Further, by donating the securities rather than selling them, a donor can avoid capital-gains taxes on the appreciation of these securities from their original basis.
Please consult your individual tax advisor for more complete information about donating appreciated securities, and feel free to use the Stock Calculator to see the actual cost of your gift after tax benefits.
To make a gift of stock, contact Sally Rothfuss, Executive Director, at 702-383-1106 or email@example.com.
Longer-term contributions — including planned giving and bequests — are essential to our continued ability to serve those with developmental disabilities.
There are several ways of making a bequest to Transition Services, Inc.:
- Specific bequests, as their name implies, enable you to bequeath an amount of your choice, usually in the form of a cash distribution.
- Residuary bequests allow you to leave a remainder or percentage of your estate to TSI.
- Contingency bequests make your gift contingent on special circumstances.
If you’re interested in remembering Transition Services, Inc. in your will — or learning more about the many other ways of supporting our work — please contact Sally Rothfuss at firstname.lastname@example.org or 702-383-1106.
Many employers participate in workplace-giving programs through the United Way, http://uwsn.org/, and you can choose to support Transition Services, Inc. specifically through these programs. Please contact your human resources office to find out how this works at your organization.
