Yards 4 You, an off-shoot of Time 2 Shine, began in 2003 when some of the individuals who were doing cleaning services expressed an interest in working outdoors at customer’s homes. The crew has attended trainings held by the Water District to become more educated in yard maintenance, while practicing their skills on the job. The team members on this crew learn skills related directly to yard cleaning services, customer service, and community interaction. They also have the opportunity to participate in a “Crew Leader” program where they supervise and direct other crew members, meet with potential customers, and help to bid new jobs.

They handle aspects of basic yard maintenance in residential and commercial properties including pulling weeds, mowing grass, raking leaves, pet clean-up, light trimming, and yard waste removal. Our crews go through on-going training exercises, and work with our individual customer requests, providing all necessary skills and equipment related to the jobsite.
